Where the F am I in this so called life?

Habits are a new trend that has filled the long talks that my wife and I have on the couch each morning, while we sip coffee and talk about how we are going to change our habits. BAAAAHHHHHaaaa. lol.   Actually my wife and I have had several arguments about them lately, but we won't dabble in those conversations.  However, we both agree that trying to change habits can be extremely tough, breaking them is even more difficult but my goodness starting new positive ones is hard as balls.  (Not sure what hard as balls means, but I'd imagine its quite extreme, so i'm sticking with it.)
I haven't been writing or reporting for quite sometime.  Not that I was ever some sort of cool ass writer or adventurer or anything, but writing my thoughts down and reflecting on my time on this planet has been helpful with getting through some tough times and has also helped improve my writing brain.  Therefore, I am going to try and write a little bit each week for my blog here, even if its only a few words or sentences.  This way I am creating a habit of reflection.  So here it goes.

This morning I had a shitty run/walk with my reddish grey foxhound Abbey.  If she could talk human, She most likely would've told me that she enjoyed it, I'm sure of it.  I mean who doesn't want to run for 25 minutes and then drop a huge deuce on some neighbors lawn??  Anyway, my wife and I woke up and had argued right away.  NOT GOOD.  This argument must've continued in our sleep from last night for we both woke up irritated and worn.  Without diving deep into the cause or effect of this argument, I've decided that based on the result of this argument that there is one habit I DO NEED to craft.  I need to LISTEN more.  In order to do accomplish or practice this habit, I first must let them talk.

WeAkly/Monthly habit:  December 2019
Let people talk.  DO NOT finish anyone else' sentence.  Need 90% success rate.

HOW:  Nod my head, use words such as "That must be difficult/ continue please/ How did you feel?/ what did you do next/ I'm sorry to hear that/ Great work, you must be proud of your hard work."

When I have been able to attain this habit, at 90% accuracy, I will then move on to the next rigid or obnoxious behavioral attribute that I render and look to change.
